Yesterday in the GLFF, someone was asking for help getting to Tarmunn Sursa. Now, that’s exactly the kind of thing that I normally would help out with, but unfortunately the first time I saw it I was in SG and the second time I was on my little guard who has no chance in H-E-double-hockey-sticks of getting up there.
Whoever you were, I’ll keep my eye out for ya in game today, and pull you up there if you still need the help. If you can stand the time it takes for the summon, that is. Once upon a time, I complained in the forums about the captain’s summons taking so much longer than the campfire horns. Turbine’s response was to extend the time it takes to summon at the horn.

I had no idea when I rolled a captain that I would become Clarysta’s Taxi Service. But I actually kind of like it - like the camera man for the Discovery Channel, you always have to go first. Which would be a lot better if I didn’t get lost so much. I can FINALLY find my way to BG and SG successfully (meaning I don’t pull absolutely every mob in Dol Guldur along the way).
Hey, who’s idea was it to put an Elite Master cargul right at the top of the stairs to SG? Nice surprise when I’m already training so many of the DG mobs. And that guy does not like to take damage! But hey, flake droppers MUST be killed, yes?
I always thought the captain’s summon should be non-negotiable. Clarysta says, get your A** over here now! (except I don’t like to swear, and I’d probably say please and ruin the whole effect.)
Of course there is a campfire horn up there at Tarmunn Sursa, so this GLFF person doesn’t HAVE to have a captain for a summon. But I don’t mind helping. Unless you’re a guard and you insist on handing me your nut.

What’s with the acorns anyway? Don’t all you guards realize captains do NOT use acorns? There’s a union restriction involved.
