Clarysta Gets Emotional

I’m sitting on the stable at the West Bree gate, randomly throwing buffs on people as they run by. The good buff, by the way, meaning I had to go to all that trouble to equip my ugly buff hammer (Lioness in the Buff is the name, but maybe I should have named it Bummer*) just to give these folks a few extra points of crit chance. Between buffs, which of course really wear me out - all that arm waving you know, I sit and meditate quietly.

There’s a level 16 next to me on the stable roof. But before I can say anything, he’s got it figured out, so I tell him how to pull up the Emotes list. I sit back and relax, knowing that I’ve probably created a monster that will run around burping at everybody.

/firebreath is on fire!!!HELP!!! (that’s my fave and I do it just to annoy people, especially people in the 21st Hall. I can’t help myself.)

So the story of why I don’t have the Unwise yet, which even if it isn’t from emotes would sure look good on that list of Social Titles. Well, I would have it if it was based on /facepalm and I’m sure the Champ would have been happy to oblige. I would have earned it in Dol Dinen that day…yeah, the day we discovered captains have healing aggro.

Anyway, ran in HI with my son last month, his first time in, my 500th time, (okay slight exaggeration there, I hate HI and GB because I’m terribly claustrophobic. Therefore every 1 time in is the equivalent of 100 for me.) The cheese dropped and just as I said “Don’t loot…”

He hasn’t eaten it yet. Sometimes I log into his toon just to look at it in his inventory and sob quietly.

Happy ending time! I won the Bree Cheese in the lottery. Just waiting for the Minus One to log on so he can heal me through it. But he’s a warspeech minstrel so maybe that’s …. unwise.
